Opportunity 01 · MPR Platform

Build your application on shared services

Applications repeatedly need identity, access controls, usage tracking, notifications, and customer feedback. MPR Platform brings these capabilities together with AI and media services, so teams can focus on what makes their product valuable.

The shared capabilities behind your application

Build common capabilities once and use them across applications. Each application uses the services it needs, from user access and credits to notifications, feedback, AI, and media.

Application capability · AI

MPR AI Gateway

One customer-facing route for text, image, video, speech, and other provider capabilities. LLM Proxy is the current gateway foundation. The media-provider migration is planned and remains an implementation gate.

Application capability · Media

MediaOps by MPR

A production workflow for generation, composition, review, validation, and YouTube publication. MediaOps uses the gateway for provider work while retaining product workflow ownership.

Engineering work · ISSUES.md
Plan work and govern acceptance evidence.
Identity and access · TAuth
Authorize users, services, agents, and tenants.
Application credits · Ledger
Grant, reserve, spend, refund, and reconcile application credits.
AI access · AI Gateway
Route model and media workloads with protected credentials and usage evidence.
Media workflows · MediaOps
Compose, review, validate, and publish finished media.
Notifications · Pinguin
Deliver email and SMS outcomes with retries and schedules.
Customer feedback · LoopAware
Return feedback, traffic, uptime, and product signals to the plan.

Dictator is a private execution runtime behind the AI Gateway. It is not a separate customer product.

The application platform starts with an AI-native SaaS team with 2–20 engineers, multiple model or media providers, and no dedicated platform team. The funded work turns existing services into one commercial offering with a clear entry point and measurable expansion path.

Working software exists; commercial proof is the work ahead

The round starts with working components and public contracts. Customer demand, gateway consolidation, and paid adoption remain the central risks to prove.

Established

Repository-backed product evidence

  • Working gateway, workflow, and operating services
  • Versioned releases and public contracts
  • Integration tests and deployment declarations
  • Commercial and private-execution paths

To establish

Repeatable commercial adoption

  • One onboarding, account, and support experience
  • Accepted gateway-to-MediaOps workflow
  • Paid production usage across the operating loop
  • Retention, expansion, and referenceable outcomes
  • Observed pricing and acquisition economics

What a paid account must prove

The 30-account target is a test of a repeatable business. Each account must establish customer value, delivery economics, and a reason to stay.

01 · Paid demand

A workflow worth paying for

Start with a founder or technical lead at a team of 2–20 engineers. Review a provider integration or usage problem, then run a proposed 14-day assisted trial using the customer's own workflow.

Recurring pricing will be established from observed value, usage, and support needs. Paid conversion requires an actual payment.

02 · Delivery economics

Revenue above the cost to serve

Record provider costs, infrastructure usage, and hands-on support time for each pilot. Compare the workflow with the customer's current approach.

Use collected revenue and measured delivery costs to establish contribution per account and the support capacity needed to grow.

03 · Retention and expansion

A customer who keeps using it

Verify repeated use during the trial and a 30-day retention check. Track whether the same customer adopts another service for a recurring need.

Renewals and wider use establish the case for expansion. Those results guide acquisition spending and commercial staffing.

Company and financing scope

Marco Polo Research Lab LLC is seeking $5.5M to commercialize MPR Platform, its first defined investment opportunity. Platform is a product offering of the company. This proposal finances the company’s Platform plan; it does not propose a separate Platform entity.

The founder is open to converting the company to a Delaware C corporation as part of financing. The financing instrument, valuation, and final terms remain to be agreed with investors.
